This summer had to be one of the best summers of all time. Dillon and I made our first trip to Mexico, and it was amazing! Everything about the resort was just beautiful. The pools, the beach, the landscaping, it was all so nice.
Despite that it was supposed to be the hottest time of the year there and also hurricane season, the weather was great. It didn't rain once. Sunny skies 90% of the week we were there.
I'd have to say my favourite part about it was the pools. They weren't too crowded most of the time, and the temperature was always perfect. Also it didn't hurt that there was a swim-up bar in the pool we spent most of our time there. So being that we were in an all-inclusive resort, we were able to help ourselves to any refreshing drink we wanted. Whenever we wanted! I definitely took advantage of the Mango Margaritas! I would go back to that resort, just to get those again.
The food was also pretty good considering we were in a foreign country. And it was also free and unlimited, so we couldn't complain a whole bunch.
The resort was huge! It took about 20 minutes to walk from the lobby, to the beach. But it was a beautiful walk, and with all the food we were eating, it was nice to be able to take advantage of the long walks!
I believe the only thing I would do differently, is request a swim-up room. You can litterally walk off your room balcony into the pool. I would love that and would totally take advantage if I had it.
All in all, the vacation was something I will never forget. I am so happy I was able to share it with the person I care about most in this world!
